Ripple Basecoat

Technical Data

Spread Rate 2-3m² per litre dependant on surface when applied by sponge / ripple roller

Drying Time Touch dry in 60 minutes at 25°, allow 4 hours before applying top / finishing coats

Preparation

Stir until homogeneous with a flat paddle

Ensure surfaces are clean, sound and free of oil. Do not apply over rusty, loose, chalky, friable surfaces or oil based coatings.

Apply when surface temperatures range between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius and the moisture content is less than 10% on a relative scale.

Unpainted concrete and plaster should be suitably primed before painting.

Recommend application by sponge / ripple roller to ensure a suitable finish

Cleaning by means of a wet cloth before product has dried

Application

Apply one coat to prepared surface using a sponge / ripple roller. Do not apply in high winds or if rain is imminent.

Storage:

• Packed in 20L drums.

• Ensure lid is tightly sealed and stored in a cool dry place under 25°c.

• Unopened container has a 6 month shelf life.

Safety:

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Ensure adequate ventilation during use.

• Do not smoke or eat while painting.

• Avoid contact with eyes/skin: rinse with water and consult a doctor.

• If ingested seek medical attention immediately and do not induce vomiting.

Note

This product is designed as a filler coat / base coat and is not designed to be a finishing coat. Your final paint colour / top coat must be applied over our Ripple Basecoat.
